Talk about backyard envy. Everything Camille Styles seems to touch turns to gold and her backyard is no exception. Her family home in Austin is dreamy beyond words - it's open and airy and reminds me of a French villa. It would be amazing to be able to escape into the yard after a long work day - enjoy a cocktail on the day bed or have friends over for a family style meal. See the rest of the design here.

it's all coming together

Henderson Armchair from Wayfair We took possession of the new house on August 17th, so we're just over two months in, and considering that short amount of time that we've been in it (and the fact we're working full time) the house is looking pretty good. Slowly but surely, the rooms are coming together. We're waiting on a few pieces of furniture we've ordered and working at getting artwork placed and hung.  We ordered our new sectional in between the purchase and closing, and luckily it was delivered the Saturday morning of our move. One of my favorite parts of the holidays is filling our home with the smell of fresh evergreen. With the start of the cold weather, I swap out the fall scents for pine and cedar and our house instantly transforms into a cozy wooded forest. Candles are my go-to for scenting a space, which is great for your main living space where you spend most of your time but you need some options for unattended spaces as well.
